Product Description
Rexroth Bosch's MS2N03-D0BYN-CMSG1-NNANN-NN is a synchronous motor that is a part of the IndraDyn S series and is designed to be simple and efficient in automated operations. Its frame has a size 03; the rotor inertia is low enough to allow the motor to accelerate quickly. It also has a high winding speed of 9000 min^-1 and is thus preferable for use where there is a need for high output in the industries. The motor also has an internal self-cooling system for maximum cooling without an external cooling tool.
This motor has an encoder with 2048 signal periods, to give a digital resolution of 20 bits. This multiturn absolute encoder can hold up to 4096 revolutions per rotation and ensures that correct positioning is achieved over time. One significant feature of this motor is the mechanical holding brake which ensures that the motor is safely stopped in cases of power failure or an emergency. The moment of inertia in this brake is 0.000030 kgm^2 which shows stability. Further, it reduces power consumption in the system and as such makes the cost of operation low in the long run.
Other features are the M23 single-cable connection for easy installation or maintenance and the smooth shaft with a shaft seal that enables the smooth shaft to work for a very long time. The construction according to the IM B5/IM 3001 structure also makes it more durable and reliable through the standard flange and bearing. This motor is suitable for applications that require a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and versatility. Also, it restricts unwanted mechanical movements and reduces the maintenance need while increasing the life of the motor in use.
