Product Description
The Rexroth Bosch's MS2N03-D0BYN-CMHG1-NNNNN-NN is a synchronous motor. Two features that improve its functionality are the multiturn absolute encoder and the smooth shaft with a shaft seal. The multiturn absolute encoder is an important feature that plays a critical role in motor performance. This encoder helps in the position of the motor in a single revolution and it can count revolutions up to 4,096. This multiturn capability is very efficient where multiple rotations are needed, as in robotics, conveyors, or any significant and complex equipment.
Because the position is also stored in the encoder even when the power supply is interrupted, the user does not have to adjust the system each time the motor stops and restarts. This makes the system very accurate to be able to run for a long time without interruption, making it suitable for any application where accuracy is needed at different intervals. By providing precise feedback, the encoder increases the performance of the control system. A smooth shaft is a motor shaft without grooves that make it smooth. This shaft is suitable for use in those applications where bearings or gears are required to have a low coefficient of friction and less wear and tear. There are no grooves or keyways which makes it easier to maintain the shaft because if the debris gets in between, it will affect the performance of the shaft.
By sealing off the dirt, dust, and moisture, the shaft seal helps to ensure that the internal components of the motor are not exposed. This seal also enables the motor to run continuously in harsh conditions to have a longer life and low maintenance. All these features make the motor suitable for different automation and industry uses.
