Product Description
Rexroth Bosch's MS2N03-D0BYN-CMDH0-NNANN-NN motor includes a multiturn absolute encoder, which can provide up to 4,096 revolutions in one cycle. It gives constant position information and remains functional even after the loss of power or when the motor is turned off. In incremental encoders, the displacement data must be reset every time the motor starts again, thus an absolute encoder is useful for automation systems. This feature allows continuing the operations from the breakpoint without additional time and increases the motor's reliability.
This motor is also built with IM B5/IM 3001 construction denoted by A, allowing accurate and correct coupling with machinery. This construction style is used in the industrial sector because it offers a firm and no-vibration connection. Such motors are used in industries involving pumps, compressors, and gears where mechanical connection with the transmission system is critical for its efficiency. An important feature of this motor is the shaft denoted by H. The shaft is smooth and does not contain a shaft seal. The shaft carries torque from the motor and transmits power to the driven machinery. It is made of high-quality steel or aluminum. It is built strong enough to withstand wear and tear. There is no shaft seal in the motor, thus it is suitable for a clean environment where there is no dust or moisture.
The integration of the multiturn absolute encoders with the IM B5/IM 3001 construction makes the motor suitable for use in industries where precision is important. The motor's ability to track positions accurately even when there is a power loss makes it easier to improve the reliability of automated systems to operate with high efficiency.
