Product Description

The MS2N03-D0BYN-BMDH0-NNNNN-GE060N1003BN-NN is a synchronous motor made by Rexroth Bosch. Synchronous motors are a type of AC motor that offers accurate motion control and are widely used in industries. As compared to induction motors, these synchronous motors work at a nominal speed which is dependent on the the power supply input. The synchronous motors can run at a nominal or constant speed and this is regulated by the AC power source. This feature makes the synchronous motors suitable for applications which require a steady speed/torque ratio such as in machines and manufacturing.

Synchronous motors have a rotor, that rotates in phase with a magnetic field generated by the stator. The rotor is constructed from either electromagnets or permanent magnets which interact with the magnetic field to ensure synchronized rotation. As the induction motor is used for heavy-duty applications, it reduces the loss and enhances the efficiency of the motor at high loads.

One significant feature of this motor is the self-cooling system denoted by N. It helps to stop the motor from overheating during use. Synchronous motors have a self-cooling system to overcome heat production as this motor tends to produce a lot of heat because of the magnetic forces. The self-cooling systems have built-in fans or cooling channels. This self-cooling system moves air or coolant around the motor to spread the heat efficiently and keep a good working temperature. All these features contribute not only to increasing the motor's lifespan but also to improving its ability to work in conditions that require efficient performance. Through maintaining temperature, the self-cooling system helps in the normal working of motors and prevents failures caused by thermal shocks.
