Product Description

The MS2N03-D0BYN-ASDH0-NNNNN-GE060N1010AN-NN is a synchronous motor produced by Rexroth Bosch. Synchronous motors are AC motors that run at a fixed speed with a constant supply of alternating current. As compared to the induction motors where torque generation utilizes the slip, the synchronous motors operate at a fixed speed without any damage to the internal components of the MAC motor. This feature makes it suitable for use in speed control applications such as conveyors, air compressors, and many other relevant production factories.

These motors work on the principle where the rotor electromagnetically interacts with the magnetic field of stator windings. Rotors may be either permanent magnets or electromagnets. A standard flange allows the motor to be in proper alignment with other equipment to which it is coupled so there is less stress on rubber or metal spacer and other coupling parts. Standard coatings for synchronous motors are also used for protecting the internal parts of the motor from dust, moisture, and corrosive agents. They are used mainly as a covering on the windings and the outer surface of the motor housing to improve their durability and reliability in different industrial conditions. They have a high dielectric coefficient to reduce electrical discharge, and they also provide resistance to high temperatures.

The uses of MS2N synchronous motors are diverse and applicable in various industries. They are used in every application where steady and consistent movement is required for instance in the manufacturing of robots, aircraft, generators, and cars. Moreover, synchronous motors are used where energy consumption is a critical factor because they are capable of providing higher levels of energy efficiency and torque as compared to other motors at diverse load conditions.
