Product Description
The Rexroth Bosch's MS2N03-D0BYN-AMDH1-NNNNN-NN is one of the motors of the MS2N series which is characterized by high accuracy and efficiency. Its unique features that are of great significance in this motor include the encoder; smooth shaft without shaft seal; and standard flange perfection. The encoder is a part of the MS2N motor which can be employed for tracking position, speed and rotation.
This motor employs a basic encoder with 16 signal periods that operates in an analogue format incorporating Hiperface technology. Hiperface is one of the most frequently used communication interfaces in the encoder. It provides accurate position and speed information from the motor to the controller. The 16 signal periods represent that for each full rotation, the encoder provides 16 signal periods which help to get very accurate information regarding the position of the motor. It is suitable for applications that need a moderate degree of accuracy and due to analogue signal, it can easily interface with most of the control systems.
The motor has no shaft seal, and the shaft is smooth. The construction of a smooth shaft does not include grooves or threads in it, which reduces friction and wear when in use. The absence of a shaft seal in the motor means that it is protected against dust or liquid. This is appropriate for clean environments where these elements are not a concern. It also makes maintenance easier as there are fewer components that can wear out. The flange of a motor refers to the coupling part that connects the physical structure of the MS2N motor, with the mounting plane of the machine. This synchronous motor adopts standard flanges; that makes installation easy.
