With a shaft size of 20 mm and a shaft diameter of 9 mm, the MS2N03-B0BYN-HMSH1-NNNNN-NN from Rexroth is a perfect synchronous design servo motor capable of spinning at high speeds. This motor can rotate its shaft at a maximum speed of 9000 rotations per minute without any problem. The rated speed of this motor is 6470 rotations per minute. This particular configuration of the motor comes with a 24 volts DC holding brake that has a holding torque of 1.81 Nm.
The servo motor is equipped with a 4096 resolution encoder for accurately rotating and positioning the motor shaft, making it perfect for low torque robotics, as this motor can offer up to 1.2 Nm of torque at a temperature of 100 kelvins. The encoder is compatible with the ACURO Link interface, which can send the position of the motor shaft as well as the temperature of the servo motor to control it much more efficiently. In the case of high temperatures of up to 140 degrees Celsius, the MS2N03-B0BYN-HMSH1-NNNNN-NN sends a warning signal, and at temperatures higher than 145 degrees Celsius, the motor shuts down automatically. The temperature detection is facilitated by the built-in PT1000 RTD sensor.
The motor is designed to operate within a temperature range of 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius and has a class F fire insulation rating that protects the motor against fire hazards up to 170 degrees Celsius. The motor features a smooth shaft and a sealing ring, ensuring it is IP 65 protected, keeping it in excellent condition even in harsh industrial environments.
