Product Description
Part of the MS2N synchronous servo motors, the MS2N03-B0BYN-HMSH1-NNNNE-NN from Rexroth is an AC servo motor that requires 200 Volts AC to 480 Volts AC to operate with an input voltage frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. This servo motor can generate a speed of 6470 rotations per minute and can offer a standstill torque of up to 0.73 Nm while drawing a current of 1.31 Amperes. The motor has a very efficient design, sustaining a torque constant of 0.6 Nm per ampere of current.
The motor enclosure comes with a corrosion-resistant coating to prevent the body of the motor from oxidizing when installed at altitude. The maximum altitude this motor should be installed is approximately 1000 meters above sea level. To mount this motor, the MS2N03-B0BYN-HMSH1-NNNNE-NN features a flange design with a flange size of up to 58 mm. This flange size contributes to the motor's compact design, making it easy to install and store when not in use. The operating temperature of this motor is set between 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius, while the storage temperature is set between -20 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius.
The motor also comes with a multiturn absolute encoder that has a resolution of 4096 increments. This encoder features the ACURO link protocol, a 20-bit communication protocol that includes checksum and parity bits, transmitting data on the position of the motor shaft and the temperature of the motor. Additionally, the motor is equipped with a PT1000 temperature sensor that sends its data over the ACURO link communication protocol to the motor control module.
