Product Description
Part of the MS2N series of 5 pole servo motors, the MS2N03-B0BYN-HMSG0-NNNNN-NN from Rexroth is a 6470 rpm AC servo motor that has both the stator and the rotor speed synchronized. This motor operates on a voltage with a rating between 200 to 480 volts AC and draws a current of 1.31 Amperes while in standstill mode, providing a torque of up to 0.73 Nm. The maximum torque this motor can provide is 3.46 Nm at a warm temperature of 100 kelvins while drawing a maximum current of 7.25 Amperes. A good and efficient power supply module is necessary for powering this servo motor to function without any issues.
This motor comes with a PT1000 temperature sensor to send a signal to the control module. Since the motor relies on the natural convection cooling option or the IC410 self-cooling method, the PT1000 temperature sensor sends a warning signal when the motor reaches a temperature of up to 140 degrees Celsius. Once the temperature is above 145 degrees Celsius, the motor will get disconnected from the power supply immediately and shut down until it cools down. The motor has an efficient design with a torque constant of up to 0.6 Nm per ampere of current it draws.
The servo motor also comes with a compact design, having a flange size of 58 mm and length B. The shaft diameter of this servo motor is 9 mm, with a shaft length of 20 mm, making it easy for the motor to add multiple gears on the motor shaft. This motor has a centering diameter of 40 mm, allowing the motor to be installed in constricted spaces.
