Product Description
The MS2N03-B0BYN-HMDH0-NNNNN-NN from Rexroth is a 3-pole permanent magnet synchronous motor designed to have synchronous speed for the rotor and stator. This particular model comes with a maximum speed rating of 9000 rotations per minute and is designed to be low inertia, maximizing acceleration capacity and allowing the motor to quickly increase and decrease its speed. The standstill torque where the shaft of the motor is locked is 0.73 Nm drawing a current of 1.31 Amperes, making the motor perfect for low torque applications as well.
With a compact flange size of 58 mm, this motor can be easily mounted in tight spaced areas thanks to its compact and easy to mount design. In an ambient temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, this servomotor can produce a rotational torque of up to 3.75 Nm while in hot climates it can produce a torque of 3.46 Nm making it rigid when it comes to producing a stable output in varying temperatures. This motor comes with an IC410 self-cooling method that utilizes natural convection cooling, and for that, the ambient temperature of where the motor is installed should be between 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
To control the shaft with higher accuracy, the MS2N03-B0BYN-HMDH0-NNNNN-NN has an onboard multiturn encoder with a resolution of 4096 absolute increments. This encoder breaks one single rotation into 4096 small fine steps allowing the motor shaft to be accurately positioned. The encoder interface is the Advance 20 bit ACURO Link digital interface and is responsible for communicating with the motor controller and not only sends the current shaft position but is also responsible for sending the current temperature of the motor.
