Product Description
A synchronous motor, MS2N03-B0BYN-CMSH0-NNNNN-NN manufactured by Rexroth Bosch is an AC motor in which the rotation of the rotor is directly associated with the supply current. In contrast with the asynchronous (induction) motors in which the rotor flux speed is always behind the magnetic stator field, synchronous motors have a constant speed and are directly related to the power supply system frequency.
In a synchronous motor, when AC is provided to the stator of the motor; it produces an electromagnetic field. A magnet or winding that rotates in connection with the generated magnetic field helps the rotor in running. This is good because it can help make the motor consistent if it is used in applications where precision is needed like in clocks, conveyors or positioning systems. The motor of the MS2N03 series has a standard coating that is crucial in the protection of the motor's parts. The coating ensures that rust and corrosion do not occur. This is because the motor is in an industrial area where it is exposed to moisture, chemicals or high temperatures. The standard coating is usually made from durable materials like epoxy or powder coatings that provide a strong barrier against environmental damage.
The manufacturing of standard coating involves a cleaning process on the motor's surface followed by the coating material through spraying, dipping or brushing. The coating is applied and hardened by subjecting it to heat or chemical treatment to provide a shield. Concisely, the synchronous motors have improved speed that is controlled perfectly, and as the coating is standard, the motors will also be protected for use in harsh industrial conditions. That is why these motors are highly durable.
