This motor can be used for drilling applications such as CNC machines where a highly precise, fast, and high power motor is required. This motor has a power rating of 7.25 kW which allows it to produce a torque of 14.5 Nm under nominal conditions, while the torque constant of this motor is at 0.61 Nm per ampere of current that it draws.
With the use of natural convection, the MS2N03-B0BYN-CMSH0-NNNNN-GE060N1005AN-NN uses the air from the surrounding to help cool it during high-speed operations and has a thermal time constant of 11.3 minutes. This is the time it takes for this motor to attain 63% of its normal steady-state temperature, allowing this motor to cool at a very quick pace, enhancing the performance and lowering the power dissipation rate due to overheating. The motor is designed to operate at a temperature range between 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and will shut down if the temperature rating exceeds 145 degrees Celsius.
The motor comes with a smooth shaft configuration and does not feature a shaft seal, making this motor an IP64 rated servo, keeping the motor protected from dust particles of up to 2 mm in size while preventing low-level water pressure or moisture from entering in. The motor is designed to be mounted on a flange of size 58 mm and can be mounted at a maximum height of 1000 meters above sea level. Mounting it any further than the rated height would result in the motor running at derated conditions.
