Product Description
With a torque rating of 14.5 Nm and a peak speed rating of 9000 rpm, the MS2N03-B0BYN-CMSH0-NNNNN-GE060N1004BN-NN is a perfect AC servo motor for both high-speed drilling and low-torque rotation applications. The motor is also a low inertia motor with a rotor inertia rating of 0.23 x 10^-4 kgm² that not only allows the motor to quickly adjust its speed but also provides a higher response rate to speed regulating control signals.
To control the shaft of MS2N03-B0BYN-CMSH0-NNNNN-GE060N1004BN-NN, this servo motor comes with a multi-turn absolute encoder that has a resolution of 4096 increments and can track multiple rotations as opposed to a single-turn encoder. The absolute configuration allows the encoder to output a unique bit or character for the position of the shaft compared to the incremental encoder which continuously generates a bit stream, sometimes overflowing the communication channel. The digital communication protocol that this motor features is the ACURO link communication protocol which helps transmit both location bits as well as the current temperature of the motor during operation.
This motor is designed to be installed in areas with extreme operating conditions and hence it can withstand temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius when under operation. If the motor ever exceeds 140 degrees Celsius, the MS2N03-B0BYN-CMSH0-NNNNN-GE060N1004BN-NN servo motor will shut down to keep the motor circuitry protected against overheating, preventing short-circuiting. The motor has a built-in PT1000 RTD sensor attached to the windings of the motor to sense the temperature at all times, ensuring safe operation. The ACURO link interface is also designed according to SIL 2 standards.
