Product Description
Designed for high-speed applications, the MS2N03-B0BYN-CMSH0-NNNNE-GM060N1005BN-NN from Rexroth part of Bosch Electric is a 9000 rpm servo motor with a nominal speed rating of 6470 rpm. This servo motor requires between 168 to 480 volts to operate and has a 5 pole pair configuration where each pole is responsible for inducing electromagnetic fields in order to rotate the shaft of the motor which allows it to rotate at such a high speed.
To keep the motor well under its suitable operating temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, the MS2N03-B0BYN-CMSH0-NNNNE-GM060N1005BN-NN uses natural convection cooling method that uses the surrounding air and temperature to cool itself and so must be installed in a well-maintained and temperature-regulated environment in order to function properly. This motor can be mounted on a flange with the exact flange size of 58 mm. The flange mounting helps keep the shaft perfectly aligned keeping the motor shaft free from additional axial stress allowing the motor to run more efficiently. This motor comes with an efficient design and has a torque constant of 0.61 Nm of torque for every ampere of current that it draws from the power supply unit.
With an on-board multi-turn encoder, the MS2N03-B0BYN-CMSH0-NNNNE-GM060N1005BN-NN can accurately rotate its shaft by counting 4096 increments per rotation and the motor shaft is also capable of turning multiple times while the encoder can also count the number of times the shaft rotates. This encoder uses an ACURO link digital encoder interface that transmits position data over to the motor control module with encrypted data to make sure the data packets are transferred securely and are less susceptible to noise generated errors.
