Product Description
The MS2N03-B0BYN-CMSG0-NNNNE-NN motor is established by Rexroth Bosch. One of its features is a singleturn absolute encoder (S -, Singleturn, 1 revolution) for position feedback. It has a size 03 frame having a length "B", which is suitable for narrow constructions or tight spaces. The rotor inertia is zero. It makes it easy to accelerate and decelerate thus making the motor suitable for applications that require dynamic movement. The stator winding connection is denoted by thus making the motor suitable for high rpm operations at a speed of 9,000 min-1.
An incremental encoder gives position feedback for every revolution of the rotor while a single-turn absolute encoder offers position feedback within one complete revolution of the rotor. In contrast with incremental encoders which track pulses to arrive at position, single-turn absolute encoders provide position information immediately, without power interruption. These are useful when a motor has to be positioned with great precision within one revolution in precise robotics or manufacturing.
The main advantage of a single-turn absolute encoder is that it can provide accurate position information for only a single revolution of the motor. Such fine grading allows the motors to work at maximum efficiency and possess a high degree of accuracy. Single-turn encoders are mainly used in robotic arms or CNC machines. Synchronous motors are widely used across various industries because of their longer life, reliability and low maintenance. These motors are used in a variety of applications in pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors. Therefore, single-turn absolute encoders serve as valuable position sensors in applications where position measurement of the motor within one revolution is important. This motor is a reliable and effective tool in many industrial applications.
