Product Description
The MS2N03-B0BYN-BMDH1-NNNNN-NN servo motor is produced for industrial use by Rexroth Bosch. It has several characteristics that enhance its performance. This motor comes with a multiturn absolute encoder (M) and an M17 double plug connector (D). A multi-turn absolute encoder is an electromechanical device used for monitoring the position of a motor shaft. As compared to incremental encoders, which require the user to reset every time the encoder is switched on, absolute encoders retain information of position even in the absence of energy.
The multiturn encoder means that the encoder can also identify the position within one revolution while at the same time counting the number of revolutions. The encoder can go up to 4,096 revolutions. This is useful in those applications where the motor end needs to travel over relatively large distances or even multiple revolutions. The primary advantage of this encoder is reliability and speed. It is particularly suitable in systems that require the motor to stop and restart frequently, as it will always keep knowing its position without adding additional steps. The M17 double plug is used to boost flexibility and installation convenience. While "double plug," has two connecting terminals that make wiring easier because of more connection possibilities.
Another advantage of this connector is that it is turnable, which makes its installation even easier. It can be turned to the desired position to accommodate connections in different areas. This feature eliminates chances of potential damage to the wiring strands, thus making the motor set up stronger and dependable. The multi-turn absolute encoder offers precision and reliability as the motor can locate the position of the shaft in multiple rotations.
