Product Description
The Rexroth Bosch's MS2N03-B0BYN-ASDH1-NNNNN-NN is a synchronous motor, that rotates at a fixed speed. Synchronous motors rotate at a fixed angular velocity depending on the frequency of the supplied electrical current while its shaft speed is also fixed irrespective of the mechanical load applied. This motor is small and has a size 03 and a medium length B, providing flexibility in installations. It has a rotor inertia of 0 which makes it start and stop easily and is helpful in applications requiring precise control. The motor uses self-cooling (N) and therefore does not require additional cooling systems for its proper functioning which makes it easy to maintain.
The motor also offers a simple encoder denoted by A with 16 signal periods and Hiperface compatible with analog technology. The encoder is the single-turn (S) encoder. It does not offer position information and is only used to count the number of revolutions. The motor also has an M17 double plug for ease of electrical connection during supply or installation. The shaft of the motor is smooth and lacks a shaft seal. It has a holding brake (1). It performs different tasks of industries with efficiency.
Synchronous motors have applications in those industries where accuracy for speed control is highly desirable. These motors are used in electricity-generating plants, and are used as generators, The consistency in speed makes them suitable to be used in pumping as well as compressing fluids or gases. These motors are used in factories such as conveyor belts, fans and mixers that require consistency in speed. They are used in robotics and automation. In sum, synchronous motors have high energy efficiency and steady speed in different industrial applications.
