Product Description
The MRS312D-1N-0170-NNNN is one of Rexroth Bosch Indramat’s most efficient MRS rotors under the indraDyn H product line. Featuring a 170 mm diameter and a moment of inertia of 0.751 kg(m^2), this rotor achieves its steady-state speed in a short amount of time. Assuming rated excitation voltage, this rotor can achieve a synchronous speed of 280 rpm or 600 rpm, depending on the winding of the MSS stator. Regardless of the stator model, however, this rotor can consistently deliver a torque value of 820 to 1,950 Nm. Excluding the stator, the MRS312D-1N-0170-NNNN weighs about 67 kilograms or approximately 148 pounds.
Together with an appropriate MSS stator, the MRS312D-1N-0170-NNNN dissipates heat effectively. Thanks to the self-contained cooling system from IndraDyn H’s stators, MRS rotors also exhibit a low thermal time constant. Specifically, the MRS312D-1N-0170-NNNN has a thermal time constant of 7.8 minutes, implying a relatively fast cooling time. Similar to other MRS rotors, the MRS312D-1N-0170-NNNN can operate at an ambient temperature of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. During transport and storage, the recommended ambient temperature must not exceed 80 degrees and 60 degrees Celsius, respectively. Without an integrated chassis or cover, the MRS312D-1N-0170-NNNN has a protection mode of IP00.
With its standard “1N” design, the MRS312D-1N-0170-NNNN can be mounted on the rotor spindle using a set of fixing screws. In total, the MRS312D-1N-0170-NNNN comes with 12 fixing screws, equally spaced 30 degrees apart. Based on its official datasheet, this rotor has a depth of 419 millimeters. At most, this rotor can withstand an axial and radial force of 690 N and 11,480 N, respectively. When bought from Wake Industrial, the MRS312D-1N-0170-NNNN comes with a one-year item warranty.
