The MRS272B-1N-0135-NNNN is a distinguished MRS rotor by Rexroth Bosch featuring a 272B body frame. With this frame type, this rotor works best with MSS272B stators under the IndraDyn H synchronous series. Products under the IndraDyn H series are characterized by their high torque capabilities, making them perfect for spindle kit applications. In particular, the MRS272B-1N-0135-NNNN has a rated torque of 400 Nm at a speed of either 650 rpm or 800 rpm, depending on the stator’s winding type. At most, this rotor can efficiently transmit a torque output of 900 Nm, assuming a drive voltage of 750 volts DC.
During operation, the MRS272B-1N-0135-NNNN exhibits a rotor inertia of 0.268 kg(m^2). Unlike other MRS rotors, the MRS272B-1N-0135-NNNN is a relatively small rotor, weighing only about 35.5 kilograms. Because of its small construction, this rotor can drive loads at a much higher maximum speed. When paired with MSS272B-0065 stators, this rotor can deliver consistent torque output at a speed of 3,000 rpm. Aside from its large construction and synchronous operation mode, the MRS272B-1N-0135-NNNN also benefits from IndraDyn H’s self-contained cooling system. This cooling system is attached to the IndraDyn H stator because the windings on the stationary component of the motor tend to generate heat more than the moving component. During installation, it is a must to use hoisting or lifting machines since high magnetic forces can be experienced when attaching the rotor on the spindle housing. Unintended movement of the rotor due to magnetic forces may cause bruising or other serious injuries.
