Product Description
Rexroth Bosch’s MRS182D-2N-0075-NNNN is an outstanding IndraDyn H rotor package, featuring a set of fastening screws for convenient installation. It has an internal diameter of 75 millimeters and a 182D body frame. For products under the IndraDyn H series, the MRS rotors usually take on the frame size of their compatible stator. Based on this naming convention, the MRS182D-2N-0075-NNNN is most compatible with MSS stators having a 182D frame class. With its relatively small construction and frame size, this rotor package can perform better at high driving speed applications. Particularly, this rotor can achieve a peak speed of 12,000 rpm at a DC bus voltage of 750 volts.
When paired with an MSS182D-0260 stator, the MRS182D-2N-0075-NNNN can achieve the following rated parameters: 140 Nm, 2600 rpm, 38.1 kW, and 71 amperes. Since this rotor package requires an external DC bus voltage, it can match the speed of the rotating magnetic field produced by the stator. For most spindle applications, synchronous rotor packages are preferred due to their consistency and efficiency. With its step interference fit construction, this rotor package has a moment of inertia of 0.043 kg(m^2). For AC machines, the rotor moment of inertia is directly correlated with the speed characteristics. Motors with low rotor moment of inertia are known to achieve higher speed characteristics.
To facilitate the current flow on the stator during the rated operation of the MRS182D-2N-0075-NNNN, a power wire with a cross-section of 16 square millimeters must be employed. At 20 degrees Centigrade, this rotor package works with the MSS stator with a linear torque constant of 1.97 Nm/A. This torque constant may be used to estimate how much the torque output will change relative to the changes in the stator’s input current.
