The MKE118D-035-CP3-LUN is an industrial motor designed by highly trained technicians of Rexroth Indramat for applications in industrial environments considered unfavorable for conventional industrial motor series. The housing unit of this motor is designed to protect it from the external interference of solid materials and water jet directed at it from any angle. This motor is also completely resistant to dilute acids, dilute alkalis, seawater, and hydraulic oil,  this is majorly due to the prime coat block which is used to cover the external parts of the motor. Since the housing of this motor provides it sufficient protection, the operator can directly integrate the servo drive into the servo system.

The MKE118D-035-CP3-LUN industrial motor can rotate at a peak speed of 3000 revolutions per minute while using a current of about 134.3 Amperes. Under normal operating conditions, this motor does not generate a sound pressure level that exceeds 61 decibels. The winding inductivity of this motor is about 3.20 millihenry.
