The MKE118D-027-PP3-KE4 synchronous motor has high functionality when used with its drive control. The product can be installed both horizontally and vertically. This device comes along with a grounding clamp and a terminal box lid. The unit should never be used when the extreme maximum temperature is very high. The motor is used in paper and food processing, metal forming and printing machines. It may be required to use additional sensors and actuators for its controlling and monitoring purposes. The device can function as either a rotary main or a servo drive motor. The unit should at all times be assembled, mounted, installed and operated only under the specified conditions.
The motor holding brake does not offer personal safety. The product is intended to be installed at a maximum elevation of 1,000m over sea level. The device features 0.03620kgm2 moment of inertia for the rotor. It also depicts 187Nm maximum torque. The holding brake has a connection time of 53ms and a disconnection time of 97ms. The speed and position of the motor are determined by its drive control using an encoder based on the current position of the motor. The synchronous motor should always have a surface temperature of not more than 135°C.
This product housing is designed as per ATEX standards. The housing and terminal box of the device is connected with screws that have at least 8.8 property class. The unit should be used only with the manufacturer’s ECODRIVE, DIAX04 and DURADRIVE drives. The motor supports operation without a fan. It should be ascertained that the fluid does not enter the motor through the shaft if it is installed vertically. This synchronous motor uses a RAL 9005 black colored paint for its housing.
