The MKE118D-027-HP3-KUN synchronous motor is subject to radial and axial forces on its shaft and bearings during operation. The thermal coupling of the product changes when gearboxes are mounted on it. The holding brake of the device has to be checked for proper functioning before it is set for commissioning.
