Product Description
The MKE118D-027-BG0-KUN servo motor is a high-efficiency rotary device. It is designed by a group of well-trained engineers of Rexroth Indramat for industrial production systems. This motor helps in generating highly reliable accurate motions and high continuous speed, for the operation of different machine tools such as; milling machine, shaper, planer, drill press or jig borer, printing and paper processing machines and many others. The MKE118D-027-BG0-KUN has a black painted housing which is to serve as a resistance to diluted acids and lyes, seawater and mineral oils, but it is to be noted that it is not resistant to concentrated acids and should not be used in a hydraulic oil subversive to avoid damage and possible injury on the personnel.
The MKE118D-027-BG0-KUN is a synchronized servo motor that uses a frequent current of 22.1 amperes to produce a continuous maximum rotor speed of 3,000 radii-per-minute. It has a plain cylindrical shaft that does not need an additional actuator for the transmission of current. It produces uninterrupted current flow and limits the risk of shaft damage, increasing g the reliability of the motor. It is designed according to the American standard with a terminal box at the top.
The electrical connection of this motor is made through a 1.7-meter cable to the shaft. The MKE118D-027-BG0-KUN also uses the optical encoder, which detects the optical pulse signals, converts them into electrical signals, and outputs them at a very high speed of 12000 per minute. This motor's optical encoder uses the Singleturn EnDat2.1 with 2,048 increments, which is a digital bidirectional interface for swift transmission and updating of position information, generating a fast feedback response, giving the motor a fast and simple startup. The MKE118D-027-BG0-KUN servo motor can also operate with a maximum current of about 99.6 amperes. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
