The MKE118D-012-CP3-KE6 servo motor is a Rexroth Indramat industrial motor with a brushless design, which makes use of the electronic commutator, and a low inertia mass to generate a fast startup. Its housing unit is of protection class according to IP65 for resistance against dust and light rain. It is designed to be used in explosive areas and for outdoor use. Special ball bearings are integrated at the output shaft of this industrial motor, these brearings increase the durability of the motor by reducing the frictional wear at the motor's shaft.
