Product Description
The MKE118B-058-PP1-KE6 servo motor is a three-phase synchronous motor designed by the Rexroth Indramat. It is a unique, specialized, and improved model of the MKE series electric motors. It runs at a constant speed from no load to full load in synchronism with line frequency. The MKE118B-058-PP1-KE6 synchronous servo motor finds its major application in industrial situations where there is a large, reasonably steady mechanical load, usually in excess of 300 kilowatts, and where the ability to operate at leading power factor is of value. It has black-painted housing, designed for operation at explosive areas according to the European ATEX standard. The black paint resists dilute acids, dilute alkalis, seawater, and even lyes.
The MKE118B-058-PP1-KE6 servo motor has an overload control mechanism and a winding inductivity of 0.170 milli-Henry. It uses a 28.4 ampere of continuous current at a standstill to generate a continuous standstill torque of 28.0 newtons per meter. It uses an optical encoder that reads 2,048 lines per second and generates a positional signal and feedback to the output shaft at a maximum velocity of 15,000 information per minute. The cylindrical-shaped output shaft is fitted with a complete key that balances the keyway for unidirectional transmission of torque. It provides continuous high-frequency movements of precise speed and position control.
This industrial motor is designed with a housing that allows for the direct integration of the motor into the servo system without the need for an external control cabinet. It has a heat management mechanism and a heat-insulated housing according to the 155 degrees Celsius insulation class; however, it has an environmental temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, above which proper functioning and lengthy durability might be eluded. This servo motor is not for subversive usage as it is not resistant to high-pressure water. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
