Product Description
Universally relevant products make up Bosch Rexroth’s long list of technologically advanced drive devices. Examples of these products are the MKE series of servo motors. These Rexroth servo motors are specifically designed as components of drive systems that will be used in potentially explosive areas. The general design of the MKE family features a flameproof enclosure that also offers protection against dust ignition. Since this meets both ATEX and UL/CSA requirements, they can be used in different locations. In addition, they have a long service life and can be installed in any position.
The MKE118B-058-CP1-KE4 is an MKE servo motor with a maximum torque value of 102.0 Nm. Its continuous torque and continuous current at a standstill of 60K are 28.0 Nm and 28.4A, respectively. It has a Hiperface encoder interface and uses an optical encoder with 128 increments and a multiturn absolute design for position determination. This encoder type keeps a record of the absolute position of the motor’s axis even after it is switched off. In addition, it is equipped with a shaft with a shaft sealing ring and keyway according to DIN 6885-1. It also features a holding brake with a 32.0 Nm holding torque and a moment of inertia of 0.001242 kgm2.
The coating of the MKE118B-058-CP1-KE4 is resistant against dilute acids, lyres, water, sewage, and current mineral oils. It is also resistant to damage by organic solvents and hydraulic oil to a limited degree. Its mechanical bearing lifetime is 30,000 operating hours, provided that its recommended loads are not exceeded, and ambient conditions for its operation are maintained. These ambient conditions include a temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C and a maximum installation height of 1000m above sea level. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
