Product Description
The MKE118B-024-PP0-KE4 synchronous motor is a new generation industrial device designed by well-trained engineers of Rexroth Indramat to work in potentially explosive areas and under adverse conditions considered unfavorable for convectional servo devices. The motor housing is covered with black paint; thus it can resist the degeneration that is often caused by liquid substances such as dilute acids, dlute alkalis and hydraulic oil. The MKE118B-024-PP0-KE4 has a frame size dimension 118B. It produces a continuous torque of 12.0-newton meters at a standstill for a highly reliable operation. It has a maximum current input of 69.1 Amperes and and operate optimally at a temperature range that falls between 0 to about 45 degree Celsius.
The MKE118B-024-PP0-KE4 synchronous servo motor contains four paired poles of permanent multiphase alternating current (AC) electromagnets on the stator of the motor that creates a magnetic field that rotates about 3000 radii per minute in synchronization with the oscillations of the line current of 99.6 amperes when supplied with a voltage of 24 Volts. The rotor consists of permanent electromagnets which turn in step with the stator field at the same rate and, as a result, provide quick continuous synchronized movements.
The MKE118B-024-PP0-KE4 motor runs a seamless high-frequency operation using a digital interface with a diverse range of applications. It also makes use of the multiturn absolute encoder with an encoder speed of 12000 radii per minute which facilitates fast transmission of position values, updating and storing new information to produce effective rapid response through the output shaft. The heat generated by this motor is controlled via natural convection thus the motor should be installed in a position that will expose it to cool air. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
