The MKE118B-024-NP1-KUN is an electric servo motor with high functionality, designed according to American quality standards to work efficiently in explosive and adverse areas. The MKE118B-024-NP1-KUN is one of the MKE series designed by Rexroth Indramat to provide high-speed, highly controlled, precise movements for industrial machine tools. It's designed in a black varnish to resist dilute concentrated acids and lyes with a housing frame of the 118B dimension, with a heat-resistant body frame. This motor also contains special grease-lubricated bearings that reduce the frictional heat it generates under normal operating conditions.
The MKE118B-024-NP1-KUN motor produces highly reliable rotary operations with the motor winding resistance of 7.6 ohms at 20 degrees Celsius, generating a continuous standstill torque of 28.0 newton-meter at 60 Kelvin. The motor has an environment temperature of 40 degrees celsius for optimum performance and an altitude installation up to 1000 meters above sea level. It is not to be used for subversive operations to avoid damage to the motor. It has a temperature control mechanism that is maintained by ventilation holes on the housing and a heat-insulated frame. Wear of the bearings is reduced to the minimum by a lifetime of grease lubricant, maintaining a lifetime of 30,000 operation hours.
The MKE118B-024-NP1-KUN motor was developed and tested according to the UL standard of housing. It has a positional accuracy with regard to true running, axial running, and co‐ axiality to the shaft according to DIN 42955 with an Installation altitude up to 1,000 meters above sea level. The shaft comprises a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 and also a fitting shaft sealing ring. It has an improved data memory for simple and fast startup and an ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
