Product Description
Rexroth Indramat Bosch Group has shown significant technological improvement in their permanent magnet motors. The company offers MKE series which is specifically made for hazardous environments. Moreover, many MKE models comply with ATEX and UL standards to operate in explosive environment.
The MKE098B-047-KP1-BENN permanent magnet motor by Rexroth Indramat is a high torque motor that can reach the speed of 4,500 RPMs. The synchronous motor offers continuous torque of 12.0 Nm while it can reach 43.5 Nm maximum torque. In standstill position, the permanent magnet motor has a continuous current of 9.8 Amperes. While operating at high speed and producing maximum torque, the MKE motor generates 44.3 Amperes current. The high-torque motor by Rexroth has a weight of 18 kilogram and it features four pole pairs. The housing of the motor offers IP65 protection as per IEC 60592 while it complies with the insulation class 155 as per DIN EN 60034-1. Although the low-rotor inertia of 0.00430 kgm2 is sufficient enough to give it a quick acceleration/deceleration, the MKE098B-047-KP1-BENN motor features a holding brake that generates 11 Nm of holding torque.
The 18 kilogram servomotor features a frame size of 98 while its length category is ‘B’. The motor bears a winding code of 047 which is relatively medium considering that stronger combinations are also available. The MKE098B-047-KP1-BENN motor features a shaft with key along with the sealing ring. Other than a slightly modified encoder type, the rest of the design follows the basic standard. As far as electric connections is concerned, the motor offers a terminal box at B-side. The housing of the motor ensures explosive protection as it complies with the ATEX standard.
