Product Description
Bosch Rexroth designed and manufactured the MKE motor series for use in potentially explosive locations in line with ATEX and UL/CSA specifications. These motors are highly durable, high-performance motors that promote safety during use. The MKE098B-047-GG0-BUNN, a model in this series, is a permanent magnet motor with electronic commutation for continuous high-frequency start-stop operation. Its electronic commutation also makes it possible to achieve a peak torque well utilized at varying speeds. The servo motor features a brushless design and bearings that are grease-lubricated for a maintenance-free operation.
The MKE098B-047-GG0-BUNN is a B-length motor without an electrically releasing holding brake. To connect the elements of the machine to be driven to the motor, it possesses a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring. The output direction of electrical cables and the motor’s terminal box is also on its B-side. Its housing design is consistent with the UL standard. The servo motor has a variety of industrial applications, as seen in its use with machine types such as metal-forming machines and packaging and food processing machines. It can serve as a rotary main and servo drive motor in these applications.
There are four pole pairs in the MKE098B-047-GG0-BUNN. Its maximum velocity is 4,500 rotations per minute, and the maximum phase current of its motor winding is 44.3 A. Its torque constant at 20° C is 1.41 N/m. At the same temperature and 1,000 revolutions per minute, its induced voltage is 91.0 V. The motor offers protection against damage due to overtemperature with effective heat dissipation from its stator windings. It should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40° C and 1000 m altitude. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
