Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MKE series of synchronous servo motors are explosion-proof motors designed to be used, especially in areas where the risk of explosion is high, such as mines, refineries, chemical industries, etc. The MKE096B-047-NP1-KN is a B-length permanent-magnet motor in this series, and its motor frame size is 096. Also, its windings code is 047. Due to the unique magnet makeup of this motor, its design boasts low inertia masses. The shaft of the MKE096B-047-NP1-KN is one with a keyway according to DIN 68805-1 and a shaft sealing ring.
Like other motors in the series, it conforms to ATEX and UL/CSA standards regarding servo motors that can be used in explosion-prone areas. Its housing is a sturdy, flameproof enclosure with a coating resistant to water, sewage, dilute acids, and current mineral oils. It is also dust-resistant with an IP 65 protection rating. The MKE096B-047-NP1-KN can attain a maximum velocity of 4,500 revolutions per minute with a maximum torque of 43 Nm. It is equipped with an electrically released holding brake of torque 11 Nm intended to control its motion as it energizes or de-energizes. In addition, it possesses an encoder system that sends signals to the drive controller to help it determine the position of the motor at every point.
The MKE096B-047-NP1-KN requires a maximum environmental temperature of 40o C for optimum operations. Its installation altitude must also not exceed 1000 m. It is not designed for underwater use and should only be used in combination with accessories specified by the manufacturer, which also meet ATEX and UL/CSA standards. The windings on this unit have a resistance of 8.4 Ohms, and its temperature tolerance is up to 155o C. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
