Product Description
The MKE series of permanent magnet servomotors by Rexroth Indramat Bosch Group has been specifically designed for areas where there is a threat of explosion. The MKE motor models feature strong housing that complies with the ATEX 92 as well as UL standards. That means, the MKE models are safe to install in almost every functional location in between 0 and 1000 meters above sea level. The MKE models are further categorized on the basis of frame sizes. Then the models within the groups have been segregated according to the motor length, winding type and other options.
The MKE096B-047-KP1-KN motor belongs to the category of frame size 096 and its motor length is ‘B’. The permanent magnet motor features a winding ‘047’ which is quite strong. Furthermore, there is a K type encoder which is a modification from the standard design. The MKE096B-047-KP1-KN permanent magnet motor by Rexroth Indramat offers a shaft with key according to DIN 6885-1. The shaft also has a sealing ring. As far as holding brake is concerned, the MKE motor model features 11Nm brake. Since the housing and construction of the motor is client-specific, it’s difficult to say whether the design complies with ATEX, GOST or UL standards.
The MKE096B-047-KP1-KN servomotor offers a continuous torque at standstill position of 12.0 Nm. The maximum torque of this particular model is 43.5 Nm. The motor has four pole pairs and it weighs approximately 18 kilograms. The motor can reach maximum velocity of 4,500 rotations per minute and has a rotor inertia of 0.00430 kgm2. The strong winding ensures that the ambient temperature remains under 40 degree Celsius. At the same time it offers Insulation Class 155 as per DIN EN 60034-1.
