Product Description
The Rexroth Indramat Bosch Group has introduced different types of motors to support motion and logic control operations. Apart from a wide range of drives and devices, the company has produced digital motors, direct drive motors, asynchronous motors and synchronous motors. The MKE series by Rexroth Indramat is intended to be a durable motor that can work in potentially explosive areas. The MKE series has been designed to comply with ATEX, CSA and UL standards so that they can be used worldwide. The MKE series primarily consists of four sizes but some models have been tailored to meet the specific needs of the clients.
The MKE096B-047-KP0-KN permanent magnet motor belongs to the second generation of the MKE series. The synchronous motor offers maximum speed of 4,500 RPMs and produces 13.2 Ampere current. The motor produces maximum torque more than 43 Nm while its rotor inertia is found to be quite low, at 0.00430 kgm2. High torque coupled with low rotor inertia indicates that the motor can accelerate from zero velocity and vice versa in a jiffy. The MKE96B-047-KP0-KN features a powerful winding that offers 8.4 ohms resistance. The winding is strong enough to tolerate up to 155 degree Celsius of ambient temperature. The permanent magnet motor features four pole pairs and its compact housing offers IP65 protection (against dust and water seepage).
Construction wise, the MKE096B-047-KP0-KN synchronous servo motor by Rexroth Indramat is meant for hazardous areas. The 18 kg servomotor features a frame size of 96mm and belongs to the ‘B’ category of motor length. The motor has a winding code 047 and it also features a shaft with keyway that follows DIN 6885, sheet 1.
