Product Description
The MKE047B-144-CP0-BE0N is a state-of-the-art synchronous motor designed by Rexroth Indramat specifically for application in potentially explosive areas. This industrial motor is highly renowned for its ability to operate over a broad speed range and to withstand industrial conditions considered unsafe for conventional servo motors. The MKE047B-144-CP0-BE0N feature a housing unit which meets the IP65 protection class, the housing unit is covered with a black (RAL9005) paint; thus this synchronous motor is completely resistant against dilute acid, seawater, alkaline, and any other liquid substance that can cause corrosion, the motor is however not suitable for underwater operation.
The MKE047B-144-CP0-BE0N motor is a brushless motor produced by highly trained operators of Rexroth Indramat; the operation of the motor should be according to the ATEX directive. The heat generated by this synchronous motor is regulated by natural convection; it is thus important for the operator to ensure that the motor is installed in a position that allows for the easy flow of cool air in and around the motor. The optical encoder of this synchronous motor is a Multiturn absolute Hiperface encoder with about 128 signal periods, while its shaft is a steel shaft with a shaft key designed in accordance with DIN 6885-1. The housing of this motor feature a terminal box through which electrical cables enters into the motor.
The MKE047B-144-CP0-BE0N synchronous motor should not be operated at an ambient temperature that exceeds 40 degrees Celsius, and this can cause the motor to overheat. Also, the maximum permissible height for the installation of the industrial motor is 1000 meters above sea level. The motor encoder contains a data memory which helps it start up quickly. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
