Product Description
The establishment of Bosch Rexroth Indramat has entirely redefined the industrial automation landscape by focusing on how to ease the interaction between personnel and industrial applications and minimize injuries and/or damages. The Rexroth MKE synchronous motors series is designed for use in potentially explosive industrial environments.
Bosch Rexroth’s MKE037B-144-GP0-BUNN is a synchronous motor with a UL-standard housing design. The motor supports electrical connections through a terminal box. When in operation, the temperature on the motor surface is capable of reaching extreme levels. After switching off the motor, a period of approximately 140 minutes should be provided for the motor to cool down before touching its frame. Note that the time the motor takes to cool down after switching off is roughly five times the motor’s thermal time constant. To guard against burns, an operator should wear safety gloves when touching potentially hot surfaces. Transporting, mounting, and lifting Rexroth’s MKE037B-144-GP0-BUNN should be done using the appropriate equipment and safety googles, shoes, and a hard hat.
The motor has 3 pole pairs, a sound pressure level rating of 64.3 decibels plus or minus 3, a weight of 2.5 Kilograms, and a discharge capacity of the components of 1.0 nF. Note that the motor’s voltage, current, torque and other technical specifications are calculated under a maximum ambient operating temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and a minimum 0.0 degrees Celsius, in an insulated structure. These calculations are only made when the motor has a radial shaft sealing ring. The motor is to be applied in an environment with conditions above the ones used during tested, Bosch Rexroth advices stating the conditions during purchase. At standstill, the MKE037B-144-GP0-BUNN has a torque rating of 0.9 N-m.
