Product Description
The safety of operating in a hazardous industrial environment has been made easy by the establishment of Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Whether it’s in environments prone to explosive gases or vapors, Indramat’s automation technology has led to the manufacture of motors for use in explosion prone industrial environments.
Rexroth’s MKE037B-144-GP0-AUNN is a synchronous servo motor which has a continuous torque and current of 0.9 N-m and 3.3 Amperes respectively. The motor has a winding resistance of 3.70 Ohms measured at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, a winding inductance rating of 2.70 milliHenrys, a thermal time constant of 15.0 minutes, and a maximum velocity of 9000 revolutions per minute. The MKE037B-144-GP0-AUNN is part of the Rexroth MKE synchronous motors which are suited for use in fields such as metal forming, food processing, packaging, printing, machine tools, and paper processing.
When mounting Bosch Rexroth motors, only qualified persons should handle the process. Also, local and international safety and installation guidelines should be followed. When in operation, the capacitors used in the motor construction can store electrical power for a minimum duration of 30 minutes after switching off the motor. Allow capacitors to discharge before accessing the internal components of the motor. Indramat MKE motors are powered by a three phase or a single phase power source. Bosch Rexroth MKE motors feature an encoder that helps to control the motor’s speed. To function as required, the encoder checks the current position of the motor shaft and appropriately signals the interfaced drive controller. The MKE037B-144-GP0-AUNN features a shaft with keyway and its housing type conforms to American standards (Underwriters Laboratories) and has its terminal box positioned on the A side.
