The MKE037B-144-CG1-BUNN is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the MKE series of motors. It is a highly functional machine that meets the requirements provided by ATEX and UL/CSA in one class. When used with Rexroth’s drive devices, it can be used to set up drive systems that can be used in hazardous areas with adverse conditions. It has a holding brake, and its electrical connection is on the B-side of its terminal box. Its housing design is Per UL-standard and to facilitate low maintenance, a brushless design has been incorporated into it, with grease-lubricated bearings that stay in service throughout the product’s lifetime.

The MKE037B-144-CG1-BUNN is a servo motor of frame size 037, frame length B and Winding code 144. It features a plain shaft coupled with sealing ring and an optical encoder, Multiturn absolute Hiperface with 128 increments (M1). This encoder permits absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical rotations such that the absolute position of the axis is preserved even when the system goes off. It also houses a data memory that facilitates quick startup and adaptation between the motor-drive control system. 

Like other motors in the Bosch Rexroth MKE series, the MKE037B-144-CG1-BUNN functions optimally when the environmental temperature is within the range of 0 – 40°C. The MKE037B-144-CG1-BUNN features a closed motor design, and its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65, as indicated by IEC 60529. and so can be used in hazardous areas like potential explosive areas. Overload protection is also possible due to its motor-temperature control feature.
