The MKD112C-024-GP3-AN model is equipped with a standard grease lubricated bearing which provides maintenance-free operation of the motor and the average service life of the bearing is approximately 30,000 operating hours, under normal axial and radial load. The MKD synchronous motor with natural/surface cooling option operates at the supply voltage of AC 372/404 V and delivers the continuous torque of 16.6/44.1 Nm while operating at the speed of 2500 rpm. At 20 degree Celsius, the motor operates at the constant voltage of 145.5 V per 1000 rpm, and the motor winding 024 generates 0.44 Ohm of resistance. The MKD synchronous motor should only be operated in conjunction with the respective drive controller and the drive controller should be programmed before commissioning. The model uses resolver feedback for indirect position detection with the precision of ±8 angular minutes. The resolver is also used to control the speed of the motor. The motor delivers the continuous power of 5.2 – 14.1 kW through its output shaft and the output shaft is balanced with a key as per DIN 6885-1.

The model MKD112C-024-GP3-AN comes with a temperature sensor for overload protection and it is also known as permanent magnet motors with electronic communication. The motor can be mounted into IM B5, IM V1, and IM V3 mounting orientation. The motor is completed protected against dust particles and low-pressure water jets due to its IP 65 protection category. The motor is also capable to hold the servo axis during deceleration because of the 70 Nm holding brake. The ambient conditions for the motor are 0 to +40 degree Celsius of operating temperature and the maximum installation altitude of 1000 meters. The motor housing is coated with prime black paint to protect it against harsh weather effects, coloring, and acids.
