The MKD112B-073-KG0-BN is a servo motor used for constructing a cost effective motion control platform in conjunction with Rexroth’s drive control systems. This motor finds extensive functionality with handling machines, automation machines, printing machines, paper industries, machine tools, and packaging machines. This motor produces a 28 Nm continuous torque during standstill mode when the motor overtemperature is 60 K. At 100 K motor overtemperature, it is possible for this motor to generate a 33 Nm continuous torque in standstill mode. This motor's connections and voltages between 0 to 50 Volts have been designed in compliance with the global standard on electrical safety. This motor can optionally be used with additional blower units that help to maintain an optimum motor temperature during high performance requirements such as high speed start-stop applications.
The MKD112B-073-KG0-BN has a dedicated PTC (temperature sensing device) that monitors the motor temperature and is fixed-mounted in the motor windings. The connected drive controllers are used for temperature data evaluation. A power connector is also installed on this motor as a plug-in connector. The motor housing has been coated with prime coat black (RAL 9005). The paint offers significant protection against coloring, chalking, aggressive weather, delighting lyes, and diluted acids. The motor has high operational reliability and comes with overload protection because the motor temperature is continuously monitored. This motor has been made compatible with planetary gears that ensure high torsional strength because the load is distributed over three planetary wheels. These gears also ensure high dynamics because of low masses of inertia. The gears are low maintenance because of life-time lubrication.
