Product Description
Superior performance, high operational reliability, and excellent torque-speed characteristics, are some qualities of the MKD-type model of servomotors designed and manufactured by Rexroth Bosch Indramat. These motors are available in various designs, depending on the type of application they are required for. The MKD112B-058-GP0-AN is a design option that offers high torque output at good speed capacity.
Based on the ‘MKD112’ size code, which is the largest frame size in the MKD series, this motor has a flange size of 192mm and a centering diameter of 130mm. The motor length, given by the ‘B’ tag, is at 375mm. With a winding code of ‘058’, this motor can produce a continuous torque at standstill of 28.0Nm. It has the following rated values for speed and torque respectively: 3000min-1 and 6.2Nm. Along with a 1.92×10-2 kgm2 rotor moment of inertia, this motor can deliver enough turning force to move loads with moment of inertia up to 1.92×10-1 kgm2 while maintaining good performance. It has a permissible current and voltage values of 6.4A and 212V respectively, for operations under normal conditions.
To maximize the motor’s performance, the speed can be as high as 4500min-1, while a torque of up to 102.0Nm is achievable at the peak current of 183.0A. Apart from its compact design, the motor is dust proof and water proof (to an extent) based on its IP65 protection category. It also has extra features, such as: a resolver feedback for ensuring a closed loop control with a drive controller; shaft designed with a keyway and keys as per DIN 6885-1, but with no holding brake attached. Finally, it interfaces with the power and encoder cables via electrical plugs, connected to the ‘A’-side on top of the motor.
