The MKD112B-048-KP2-BN is a digital, intelligent and cost-effective Indramat AC servo motor. It is suitable for use in a wide range of industrial automation applications. The areas of application include printing presses, food processing and packaging, machine tools and handling systems. The MKD112B-048-KP2-BN offers high-dynamics, overload protection, peak torque, continuous start/stop operation and high-overload capacity.
It is easy to mount the MKD112B-048-KP2-BN to the corresponding machine via its attachment flange, according to DIN 42948. Also, the bearing shafts of this motor is such that accommodates a lot of radial loads. Like other motors in the MKD series, this model is also permanent magnet-excited and features electronic commutation. The MKD112B-048-KP2-BN has a low inertia design due to its special magnetic makeup. It comes with a holding brake that helps to safely hold its axes at standstill. The holding brake features a torque of 32 Nm.
