The MKD112B-024-KP2-AN industrial motor is one of the most sophisticated and advanced products manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. Rexroth Indramat has inscribed special safety signs and symbols on different parts of the motor, these signs are intended to warn and instruct operators on the dangers posed by specific parts of the motor if mishandled. These safety signs and instructions are according to ANSI Z535.

The housing of the MKD112B-024-KP2-AN industrial motor is made with a think metal covered with a prime coat black that is resistant to acidic, alkaline, and salty liquid compounds. This housing is designed to offer the motor protection that meets the IP65 protection category. The flange supplied with this motor allows operators to install the motor in three different positions depending on the preferences of the operator. These installation positions are designated by IM B5, IM V1, and IM V3.

The MKD112B-024-KP2-AN motor contains a holding brake with a holding torque of about 70-newton meters. While drawing a rated current of about 17.2 Amperes from the mains, the MKD112B-024-KP2-AN motor can generate a rated power output of about 13.8 kilowatts.
