Product Description
The MKD Synchronous motors from Indramat offer reliable, cost-effective, low maintenance operation. They are lifetime lubricated and have a brushless design with a completely closed housing. They perform well and have a compact design which contributes to the low weight. MKD112B models offer an option between standard or radial cooling. Outputting 2000 revolutions per minute, the MKD112B-024-KP0-AN does not come equipped with a holding brake. It is driven by an output shaft with keyway which abides by the specifications in DIN 6885, Sheet 1, ed. 08.68. The motor is balanced with the entire key.
The power connector’s default position is side A on this motor. The MKD112B-024-KP0-AN is not available in other designs. It is of size 112 and length B with a centering diameter of 130mm and weighs approximately 75 pounds. This motor uses the INS0480 connection / flange socket and the INS 0481 plug. Theoretically, this motor has a maximum torque of 102.
When the motor is being installed, the maximum tightening torque is 87Nm. Observing this guideline ensures that the connection can tolerate the force of the motor coupled with the forces present during operation. If the motor is to be stored prior to mounting, keep it in the horizontal position. Ensure that the round wire is permanently connected to all the electrical units. The battery on this motor should be changed when the machine is under load. This is to prevent an overrun in the motor encoder since switching off control voltage can cause the loss of absolute values. Do not attempt to dismantle batteries and never dispose of them in a fire. Avoid operating this motor above 1000 meters in elevation.
