The MKD112A-024-GG0-AN model is designed by Rexroth Indramat to provide high dynamics during extreme load conditions. The MKD synchronous motor takes 314 – 355 V electrical connection from the respective drive controller and it generates the continuous power of 3.2 – 6.4 kW while operating at the rated speed of 2500 rpm. The motor specification varies from model to model. The model which operates at the natural cooling model, with a 60-K increase in housing temperature, delivers the continuous torque of 15 Nm at the continuous current of 13.1 A whereas the same model with a 100-K increase in winding temperature delivers the continuous torque of 17 Nm while operating at the continuous current of 15.9 A at standstill position. The MKD synchronous motor which comes with a surface cooling mode, with 60-K/100-K overtemperature, consumes 19.7 A of current to deliver the continuous torque of 22.5 Nm at the speed of 2000 rpm. The model has four pole pairs.
The model MKD112A-024-GG0-AN comes with a plain output shaft with radial shaft sealing rings to prevent leakage. The motor can operate ideally, without a reduction in rated data, at the maximum temperature of 40 degree Celsius. The shaft position can be determined by using resolver feedback as motor feedback. The model is not equipped with any holding brake. The output direction of the power connector is at side-A, and the whole motor is protected by IP 65 protection class.
