Product Description
MKD090B-047-KP1-KN is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor. It is part of the MKD synchronous motor series. Servo motors are equipped with sensors for measuring speed and position. MKD motors feature resolver based feedback as standard. For absolute position detection, MKD motors can be equipped with an absolute encoder. The MKD090B-047-KP1-KN is equipped with the additional multiturn absolute encoder. Two shaft options are available: plain and with key. The shaft on the MKD090B-047-KP1-KN motor includes a key. A shaft seal is a standard option for all MKD motors. MKD motors support electronic commutation for high reliability and safe operation. Two cooling methods are supported: convection cooling and surface cooling. Bosch supplies an optional radial blower for applications requiring high output torque and current. Continuous output torque at standstill for the motor is 12 Nm with convection cooling and 15 Nm with surface cooling.
Continuous output current of the motor at standstill is 15 Amps with convection cooling and 16.6 Amps with surface cooling. Rated power output of the motor is 2.7 kilowatts with convection cooling and 6.4 kilowatts with surface cooling. The peak output motor torque is 43.5 Nm and the peak output current is 59.4 Amps. The motor is equipped with an optional holding brake. This is a safety feature designed to prevent accidental or unintentional motor rotation. The connection for the holding brake is located inside the power connector. Bosch has designed the motor with an IP65 rated housing. With strong ingress protection, this housing allows motor use in adverse conditions. The working temperature range for the servo motor is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Bosch recommends setup heights less than 1000 meters.
