The MKD090B-047-GG2-KN model reflects the state-of-the-art design and development of Rexroth Indramat. The drive controller must be programmed before startup, in order to ensure that the motor executes the functions specific to the particular operation. The MKD AC synchronous motor takes a 332 – 371 V electrical connection through the A1, A2, and A3 output terminals of the drive controller and it operates at the frequency of 233 Hz. The motor dissipates its heat to the surrounding air for cooling purposes by following the process of natural convection and an additional blower unit is also supplied with the motor for extreme load applications. While operating at a standstill position, the model with 60-K overtemperature delivers the continuous torque of 12 Nm at the continuous current of 13.3 A whereas the model with 100-K overtemperature uses 14.4 A of continuous current to deliver the continuous torque of 13.5 Nm. The model along with a radial blower unit, with 60K/100K overtemperature, delivers the continuous torque of 15 Nm while operating at the continuous current of 16.6 A.
The model MKD090B-047-GG2-KN comes with digital resolver feedback for relative indirect position detection and the resolver generates 4 index signals per rotation with the system precision of ±8 angular minutes. The MKD AC synchronous motor is equipped with a plain shaft (with radial shaft sealing rings) for constant power delivery. The motor generates the theoretical maximum torque of 43.5 Nm at the peak current of 59.4 A. The motor housing is painted with a prime black coat and the protection class of the motor is IP 65. The motor can operate ideally between the ambient temperature ranges of 0 to +40 degree Celsius. A holding brake is placed in this model for holding the servo axis when the machine is in the de-energized state.
