MKD090B-047-GG1-KN is a MKD series synchronous servo motor. It is a product of Bosch Rexroth. The motor is made with permanent magnets. Electronic commutation and lifetime-lubricated bearings allow maintenance-free operation. Integrated temperature monitoring provides overload protection. The motor has a flange for mounting and can be installed in any desired position. Size of the motor flange is 140 millimeters. The flange has four mounting holes with 11 millimeter diameter. The plain shaft on the MKD090B-047-GG1-KN motor has 24 millimeter diameter. Centering diameter of the motor is 110 millimeters. Length of the motor is 313 millimeters. Weight of the motor is 14 kilograms. The MKD090B-047-GG1-KN motor supports convection cooling and surface cooling. For surface cooling an optional radial cooing fan must be installed. This fan can be installed below the motor, to the left or to the right.
The cooling fan cannot be installed at the top due to the location of the power and feedback connections. The blower requires 115/230 Volts AC external power. The power connection includes connections for the temperature sensor and the optional holding brake. The electrical connection must be established only by qualified technical personnel who must observe the relevant safety instructions. The temperature sensor is mounted onto the motor windings. The motor supports resolver feedback. It acquires power from a connected motor controller. Speed rating of the motor is 3500 RPM and the peak speed is 5000 RPM. With convection cooling, the rated torque is 6.2 Nm, the current is 4.8 Amps, and the power output is 2.7 kilowatts. With surface cooling, the rated torque is 14.4 Nm, the current is 11.2 Amps and the power output is 6.4 kilowatts.
