All MKD motor shafts are equipped with shaft seals for robust ingress protection. MKD motors have an IP65 rated housing. This housing is totally dustproof. In addition, the IP65 rated housing is safe from low-pressure water jets. Electrical power from the motor arrives via dedicated power cable that connects on a terminal box located on the housing.
