MKD071B-061-GP0-KN is a servo motor. It is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The motor supports resolver feedback. It is deployed in combination with a motor controller. The controller supplies motor power via a dedicated power cable. The controller receives feedback from the motor and adjusts its output to ensure motor speed and position match programmed values. MKD motors have either plain shafts or shafts with a key. The shaft on the MKD071B-061-GP0-KN motor has a key and complies with DIN 6885-1 requirements. A shaft seal is installed on the motor for ingress protection. MKD motors have IP65 rated housings for robust ingress protection. Both methods provide effective heat dissipation. However surface cooling is preferred for high load applications as it enables higher output torque and current.
